Samnite Warrior in Campania

Samnites were probably the best warriors in Southern Italy before roman conquest : their equipement was light and suitable for mountain warfare but was good for battles in open field.
Some historians report that Samnites could rise an army of 70k warriors : just imagine how many and equiped more or less like him.
I realized this artwork as exercise for photobashing/brush tecnique and as a tribute for those wonderful warriors
